Journal of Fungi Affiliation

In August 2020, MMSA established an affiliation agreement with the Journal of Fungi (JoF), a journal published by the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI). The affiliation agreement creates a number of advantages for MMSA members, such as dedicated discounts on publication costs, conference collaboration, and more.

Our History

MMSA was first proposed during the Second Symposium on Coccidioidomycosis in Phoenix, Arizona, December 9th 1965 by a group of mycologists who met to discuss unifying medical mycologists throughout the Americas into a central unifying organization.
